Last week saw the delivery of a brand new static Eggersmann Teuton ZS55 to its new home in Byker (Newcastle upon Tyne).
The new shredder is the first component in a new mechanical pre-treatment system supplied by Kaizen Recycling Ltd.
This Teuton is a a static electric variant which now takes this customers’ total number of Teutons to 6.!!
The static range of Teuton shredders still have the ability to change the output spec within minutes and can also be fitted with a screen for an even more defined output size. A level of flexibbility normally only available in a mobile machines.
This enables the particle size of the material feeding the plant to be optimised so that downstream equipment operates at their optimal performance.
Bolt in wear parts means that hard-facing is kept to a minimum, meaning lower cost of ownership and higher availability.
